2010 Annual Meeting: Bill Credits Being Offered
Article was added on Thursday, March 04, 2010
With the economic downturn our county felt this
past year, Santee Electric Cooperative, Inc. understands its
members are facing hard times. In order to try and elevate some of
our member's hardships, we are offering a $15 bill credit at this
year's annual meeting.
In addition, our board and employees are trying to make the
meeting more convenient for everyone to attend by starting
registration an hour earlier and not requiring members to stay for
the prize drawings.
Realizing everyone doesn't have a full day to spend waiting for
a business meeting the board of directors decided not to require
members to stay until 6:30 p.m. to be eligible to win door prizes
again this year. These door prizes include a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina,
an LG 47" LCD HDTV, other small appliances and energy vouchers.
This should cut down on congestion and save members valuable
time. When you come to register, anytime between 1 p.m. and 6:30
p.m., all you have to do is register, cast your ballot, get your 12
can cooler and you are free to go. Registration automatically gets
you the $15 bill credit and enters you for all door prize drawings.
We will contact you to arrange prize pick-up if your name is
The meeting will take place at the Kingstree High School gym as
usual and will include a disabilities tent to assist our members
So, take advantage of the 2010 annual meeting. Take your lunch
hour a little late, come register, get a $15 bill credit and your
12 can cooler and still have time to enjoy your evening. We'll
contact you if you win a door prize and you'll enjoy your cooler
all summer long.
