Official Notice of Annual Meeting of Members
The 81st Annual Meeting of Members of Santee Electric Cooperative, Inc. will be held at our Corporate Headquarters at 424 Sumter Highway, Kingstree, S.C., Tuesday May 11, 2021.
Registration will be drive-thru only from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The business meeting will stream live at 6:30 p.m. on our Facebook page.
The following members have been nominated for trustees by the Nominating Committee pursuant to the bylaws:

The names of the candidates have been posted at our Kingstree, S.C. office as required by our bylaws.
Registration procedures for Annual Meeting
All members are eligible to register at Santee Electric’s Annual Meeting. Here is what you need to know:
- To register, you must bring a valid ID (Driver’s License, State Identification Card, Social Security Card).
- No one can register for an absent member.
- Husband and wife are considered a joint membership. In a joint membership, either spouse (but not both) may register.
- Anyone who intends to register as a representative of an organization, church, corporation, or similar entity is required to have written authorization on the entity’s stationery.
- All members registering at the Annual Meeting are encouraged to bring their registration ticket (found on the cover of this magazine). This will speed up the registration process.
Each member who registers will receive a Top Choice Ceramic Knife & Peeler Set and a $15 credit on their utility bill. Following the meeting a drawing will be held for a 2011 Chevrolet Colorado, a 65” Samsung Smart TV, 128 GB IPad, many small appliances, and energy vouchers.
Registered members will not stay for the business meeting but can view it live on our Facebook page at 6:30 p.m. Registration guarantees your name is placed in the drawing and you will be contacted if you win.
According to the Santee Electric Cooperative, Inc. Bylaws, each applicant who has applied for electric service from Santee Electric Cooperative, Inc. since April 1, 2021, is invited to attend the Annual Meeting and participate in all gift and prize drawings but cannot be considered an Official Member before May 27, 2021.
Each Cooperative member is urged to be present and take part in the Annual Meeting.
